Playstation Portable (PSP)

i have a friend at work who has PSP and it looks sweeeeeet…does anyone have it here? he said you can go to internet on it, play video games ofcourse, graphics are awesome too..plus you can watch movies..he said he can burn movies and watch on it..he is not here today and i have a question..do they sell actual movies for this system alone?

also…what do you like or dislike about the system

Re: Playstation Portable (PSP)

I have one. Its ok. The graphics are great. The controls and the joystick are really bad. The thumb will just get numb after a while. The screen accumulates dirt like anything.

I bought it for my son, and he prefers GameBoy Advance just becasue PSP looks so delicate, while GBA is very sturdy.

Watching movies on PSP is a crap idea. Not only will you be struggling to get movies on the stupid and totally properietary UMB disk, the bigger question is, why would anyone torture himself by being forced to watch a movie on a tiny itsy bitsy screen, when you can watch it on a bigger screen. Its just the "wow" and the "oh! cool" factor. Otherwise practically its a useless feature.

There is just one game I like on PSP, which is a stimulated car racing. For everything else in terms of video gaming, I like my XBOX much better.

Re: Playstation Portable (PSP)

yeah and here’s how it goes.. u pinch your nipples and steer with the other hand..

Re: Playstation Portable (PSP)

^ Hahaha... its actually not car racing per se. Its called "Wipe Out Pure". You race, but its a space shuttle kinda thing that can fly. At the time I bought it, it was the best racing game for PSP. Still is, may be. Not sure. Haven't bought much for PSP in a while.

Re: Playstation Portable (PSP)

thanks faisal..why don't you sell me that psp :)

i think the PSP is great for a long journey to pakistan

Re: Playstation Portable (PSP)

I am not sure if the battery life is that long.

But if you wanna buy it from me thats fine. As I said, neither I nor my son plays on it. Make a reasonable offer and I may just ship it to you.
