Does anyone know if do number “copied” playstation games are avaiable in Pakistan or not? If so.. Do you need any modifications done to your PS2. And where can one get those done..
Yeah, I'm sure you can get copied PS2 games from Pakistan.
My cousin bought a bunch of games from Lahore earlier in the year.
but you're gonna have to get your PS2 chipped so it can play these copied games, it shouldnn't cost too much.
I will be going to Pakistan in a month, and I will be taking my PS2 to Karachi. There is a famous place called Sadar where I can get my PS2 chipped and I will bunch of games from there as well, hopefully I can find cricket 2002.

Remember VCDs are encoded at a very low resolution of 328 pixels... and the sound quality is not that good either. Try getting DVDs instead... I know they're cheaper there...
i know but pakistani dramas are only on vcds
can you ask your cousin how much it costs to get the PS@ modified? Since I am in the US can I just get the chip for here so I can put it in myself?

Last year my father went to Pakistan. Since all of my brothers like to play videogames, he brought some Playstation games, my cousin helped him with shopping.
So he brought like dozens of games and I was surprised to see those names. Tekken 4 (the game that just came out 3months ago) but it was actully tekken 3 with all the secret characters unlocked from the get go. Tomb Raider trilogy (had never hear of it before). What they did was burned every tomb raider game from part 1 to chronicales on two disks. Resident Evil: the attack of nemesis or something, again all resient evil games on a single cd. Then gran turismo, Final Fantasy (6 FF's on 3 disks) and so many other.
My playstation was modified so we could play each and every single title (not that we hadn't palyed them already but it was a nice compilation). I asked my dad how much all these cost and he said probably 2 or 3 thousand rupees.
But man those people did a really nifty job pirating those games. All of the series on just a single or two disk sets? omg.
