Re: playlist-pashto forever
Thanks for sharing,
The first song is nice, but I hate it when they mix Pashto with Punjabi or Urdu-Hindi in songs, don't get me wrong I think Hindi-Urdu and Punjabi are beautiful languages but mixing different languages takes the originality away and spoils the song, I don't like it when they mix English in Punjabi songs neither.
It's nice to see Pashto singers moving with the times away from the classical to more up beat genres, I'd like to hear more with a rap, r'n'b, pop, dance, rock and even bhangra (and other popular ethnic) tunes.
I think our singers need to take more inspiration from international musicians especially Persian and Arabic and steal their popular tunes (just the music not the lyrics unless translated to Pashto) for Pashto songs.
Also they need to learn to sing from proper teachers (even foreign ones if possible) and train their voices so that their voices have some character to them, a lot of the times I get bored of Pashto songs because the singer has no vibrato and the tune is so repetitive.
Re: playlist-pashto forever
By the way not all the songs you posted are Pashto, the Naazi Jaan by Qader Eshpari song is Dari/Farsi/Persian.
Look at you trying to fool the poor Desis who can’t tell the difference between different Iranic languages.
