I don't. I know many people who play after Asr. Night cricket is also another possibility. After taraweeh, till fajr.
Since roza is between a man and his Creator, so its difficult to know for sure. But there are news reports that several members of Pak Cricket team keep fast while playing. Miandad was mentioned as one in some news reports.

Recently (not too long ago) Salman Butt played against India while fasting (Golden Jubilee?), Miandad used to fast esp in 92 WC games.
We used to play cricket after sehri and/or before iftar, but then that was gali/mohalla cricket.

Younis Khan is another one who does so. A few years ago, he scored a 50 and took something like 5 catches/runouts in an ODI while fasting

Yeah, from asr till maghrib but just a makeshift. Although after fajr till the match ends is more enjoying than any other time especially when Ramadan falls in this season. I was playing two games per day for the past week; one at night n one post-fajr but that just takes too much so we called it off...two hours daily is convenient for everyone i guess

I don't think it makes physiological sense to do so, but people have done it. As someone mentioned above, Salman Butt did it, but he did suffer from pretty bad cramps and had to be taken off for some time while batting.

Its alot easier for batsmen to fast while playing.
Not so easy for bowlers, I was once dehydrated while bowling during ramzaan.

yes if batsmen dont wanna take singles, doubles, and triples. bhai jee do you know the distance between two wickets? We use to play while fasting.

I think umair bhai is trying to say that he is Afridi kinda batsman… either chakka or out. There is no place for running between the wickets, in his game. So Ramzan cricket is a-ok! :k:

Our annual inter wing cricket competition came during ramadan back in the college days in 1995-1996... I think all of us were fasting... but those used to be 30 overs a side matches. We all went alright, no major dramas.

in 1997 majid khan started domestic cricket in ramdan and now
its still going on!!!
