for the the MoS was Rana - not only was he among the top wicket takers comparing against the likes of Lee, he gave his best despite his tragedy. :k: he’s da man!!

if it had to be an Australian, it should have been Clarke. Afridi was also a top contender.

i agree Umar, i personally thought it would be a toss b/w Rana and Afridi... Clarke was pretty good too.. he made pretty solid knocks...
Inzy was also brilliat, maybe not in the first half of the series, but second half.. totally amazing.. by the end, wasnt he like in the top 5 for the most runs made?

i think it should be shoaib actor. he didnt play and we managed to be in finals and almost beated them in finals (thnks to umpires, we didnt).

shahid afridi had his best odi run for a long time, clearly stood out for man of the series. micky clarke was far betta then brett lee.

Rana is "our" choice because we got rid of Akhtar and Rana produced better results and stayed with team despite death of his father.... it all benefits "Pakistan", but unfortunately he was neither highest wicket taker nor highest scorer.
They have awarded B Lee, but to all of us (Pakistanis) Rana has won our hearts and he is our player of the series/tournament! :Salute:
