Hi moms.
I am looking for best and affordable school for my 2 yrs boy. I want to get him admitted in school when he will be 2.5 yrs old. Just started doing my research earlier.
Please share your experience with some schools near malir cantt , university road or Gulshan iqbal.
I want to know about fee structure , admission fee , age required for admission
The one i know, my cousion's daughter is in beaconhouse school system block 4, Gulshan iqbal, near discovery. Rest the fee structure is like 60k admission fees, and they take two months fees together which is 26k. She was 2 year 4 minth i guess when got admitted in school.
for gulshan best is Foundation Public School but the registrations are closed now !
You can look up for Beacon house as they take in students until their class is filled up and have no final registration date as such. Their playgroup program is called "Bubbles".
schooling is freaking costly in Pakistan compare to western countries. any reputable Montessori are charging around 25k + thats like 250$ a month.. its like sending a kid to private school in US. well double that amount but still as per the Pakistan per capita this is outrageous
You are right. I am in search of an affordable yet good schooling system.
Need reviews about Army public school toddlers academy malir cantt , ASF school, or any other school with monthly fees no more than 8000
A Montessori/pre-k in the US runs about $800-$1000/month. The uber posh ones are closer to $1500.
compare 250 to 400$ to Pakistani per captia average income to US ... its crazy here !
i was talking to wife to send him to private school in states in future, as per today it looks cheaper seriously !
It's absolutely crazy, which is why my kids started school at age 5 when public KG starts....an they have turned out just fine lol. I don't get the rush to send 2-3 year olds off to school so soon, but that's just me.
Schooling in Pakistan is v.v.expensive. The fees is not all , you have to pay for transport also (private or van whatever) then there are other expenses also like course books , other non school books & work books , arts & crafts stuff etc.

Have only one review for APS and it wasn't good.
Affordable options are definitely convent schools/ Parsi Schools they have quality education with very low/affordable fee structure BUT a major hurdle in sending your kids there is the distance from home. Most of them are located in Saddar like St. Joeseph , St. Pats , Trinity , Mama Parsi , BVS etc.... St. Micheals & CJM is in clifton for me all of them were very far away from home yet I have a school mate who is living in same area as mine and send her kids to St. Pats.
Other affordable options are Shaheen Public School , PECH Girls School , Usman Public School , Karachi Public School . Bahria School near Bahria Complex MT Khan Road , Habib Public School (I am not very sure about their fee structure) , Hamdard Public School There is a school by the name of Tungsten Excellence in North Nazimabad I have heard good things about that school and fees is quite affordable.
In my opinion if you are ready to send your kid to school far from home then u have plenty of affordable options otherwise if you look for proximity to your house then the options are obviously reduced.
