Khalil Chishtee uses loads of trash bags, unused grocery bags, plastic bags, and plastic sheets to create textured sculptures which take on a bizarre life of their own and are wracked with emotion. He uses these materials as a metaphor for “Recycling our identities” or braving the problems of life.
