I once read some Ahadeeth on the merits of planting trees and caring for them, no idea how authentic they were.
Can someone post them please and tell me if they’re classed as Saheeh or not.
In this day and age of global warming, I think they should incorporated into Friday sermons.
Re: Plant Trees
Planting trees is a sadqah jariah. When people/animals/birds etc will get under its shade, you'll get blessings. When people/animals/birds etc will eat its fruit, you'll get blessings. When someone breaths the oxygen produced by the plant/tree, you'll get blessings.
The best thing about sadqah-e-jariah is that, you'll get blessings even after you're dead. It goes like a chain and will remain till the day of judgment.
