Plans for DEATH...!?

No one plans for it, till he suddenly leaves his relatives in a shock.

One of my aunt never studied with an aim of utilizing her knowledge for profession till her husband died, after which she had to get admission in Uni while having 4 children one of which was few days old, and now masha’Allah she has been teaching for almost 24 years.

Should parents mentally prepare their children for such a situation to avoid total collapse and disaster incase they suddenly leave ?

My wife gets unhappy when I say, " We are never sure of life so hope for the best BUT always keep yourself strong and prepared for sudden tests of time "

Re: Plans for DEATH...!?

^ that is very true , howeveri dont think you can prepare people for death as it will seem so unreal to them even though it is the truth. we can prepare ourselved though by being good muslims and earning the reward of a good after life though

Re: Plans for DEATH...!?

A family I came to know lost their parents while the children were in teenage, after which the children might have absolutely no idea about how much property belongs to them. Is it possible that in any case the uncles might take a wrong advantage of this ignorance of the children ?

Also the children might not know anything about where the documents of their land might be placed, how much debt their parents took from people, or gave to different people. Whom among their relatives and parent's friends should they trust in such matters and whom not to trust incase if anyone wants to take their responsibilty of Land property.

^ Wouldn't all this make life too difficult for the children who are already going through mental pain of parent's loss. But such information also seems too odd for parents to give to their children before a certain stage ?!

Re: Plans for DEATH...!?

I have seem many instances where the husband dies and the wife and small children are at the mercy of the in-laws. The brothers of the husband usually end up stealing the husbands property.

That is why it is the duty of all parents to have significant life insurance and have all property related matters documented. All these should be left with a good trustworthy law firm or trust fund.
