I need some ideas for my brother’s haan rasm. Along with typical mithai and money what else can we take on that day for the bride ,may b flower jewellery bangles .I would really appreciate all new idea or something special that u guys did …. would love all your help !!!

chocolates, nice dress, and a cologne maybe everything nicely presentable with extra effort u know and yes flower bouquet
if u want to put flower jewellery u can chose pink or white I guess

I think she means when guy side visits the girl's family "haan" hone pe, they usually take a small package containing bangles, henna, perhaps a dress and shoes. It's meant to be something small, not extravagant.

I've never heard of a "haan" rasam.
You could probably take things you might take to a mayun or mehndi, no?

in our family, when this rasm is done (we call it mun meetha) which is to be followed by engagement party later on, guy's side take with them stuff like mithai, basket of chocolates, dry fruits, bangles,mehndi cone. money and dress for the girl. and yes flower bouquets, gajras too.

It's also called baat Paki rasam when the girl's parents say the formal "yes" to the boy's side.
