Me and a group of friends (5 others) are hoping to visit Marrakech in Morroco for 7 days. Has anyone been there before? I need some advice on the hotel, excursions, places to eat…
We are on a budget and havent got much to spend as we are all students. Also is there a type of accommodation which includes use of a kitchen? Im very picky with my food, doubt i will be able to eat Morroccan food.
I dont know about using a Kitchen maybe you should try a riad or something. There are plenty of cheap hotels in the Jama El Fana behind the Post Office - i stayed in Afriquie or something like that and it cost me £7 per night.
7 days is too long for Marrkech 3 days maximum is enough. If your going in the summer go into the Atlas Mountains for a few days.
Re: Planning a trip to Marrakech, Morroco

Re: Planning a trip to Marrakech, Morroco
We went to Morocco last summer, stayed 3 days in Marrakech even that was too long and then got a coach to Agadir and stayed there 6 days that was better as it has a beach and water activities.
Food wise…Agadir has a pakistani restaurant…we just lived on mcdonalds and pizza hut. Currency was quite good…it isn’t too expensive. You can go to the merjan supermarket in agadir and pick up some precooked meals if you fancy that. The aparments come with a mini kitchenette
We stayed at the Hotel Amalay in Marrakech..cheap and affordable.
Re: Planning a trip to Marrakech, Morroco
The cheapest flights i can get includes both hotel and flights...flights on their own are expensive....so i might be stuck with the hotel for 7 nights..There is a hotel Ryad Mogador or something where we plan to stay. The supermarket is next door and there is a place close by where we can book excursions. Did u go on any?
I think we will definitely go Agadir. Did you prebook the coach?
