How soon do you guys think, a married couple should begin to plan babies, after they get married

Just so I clear this out before u assume something again about me, when you don’t even know me. I am not planning on having a baby with him anytime soon.

I asked because I was curious about what the norm was.

I don’t think there is a norm, but from my observations of people around me I don’t know any couple who has waited longer than 2-3 years to try out of choice. Max is 3 years post marriage. Whether they conceive immediately or face fertility issues is another issue. Also most couples I know are the ones who are done with their education and professionally settled when they get married.

My parents and grandparents want me to have a child soon as possible but I am planning to wait two years. I would say that is reasonable.

Allah only knows the right time for you to get child.. So leave it to Him.
