Ok. Its that time now! Two more days and them “those Damn Dirty Apes” will be everywhere. I cant wait. I am just a Planet mof the apes fanatic. No one can ever do the job that Charlton Heston did in that movie. But then again this is the guy who brought spectacular movies as Batman and Edward Scissor hands. Tim Burton truely is one of the best directors of this time.
I couldnt believe that helena Bonham Carter (fight club) was the female monkey. The chick from Driven Stella Warren I think, I am in love with her.
And after the Three kings, Mark Wahlberg is also back! Oh boy I cant wait till the planet goes ape!!!
I am a die-hard fan of the original movie and the series that was on tv a long time ago, and after reading so many contradicting reviews of the re-make, I am quite worried about seeing it.
Better be good and not another disappointment like AI was.

I just watched it today! Had expected too much from the movie. I mean if any director would have made this movie it would have been OK, but from Tim Burton more was expected. Usually Tim Burton movies have wonderful Musical numbers but this movies Music was also not spectacular. The ending didnt make any sense!
I mean I would tell you what the flaw was but then you will know the ending...
Marky Wahlberg was awesome! The girl from Driven was beautiful! What I was disappointed was Tim Roth's, Helena Bonham Carter's and Michael Clark Duncan's talents hidden behind that awesome makeup! But that was the art behind the movie.
As ratings I give it a 5/10. I am sorry as APE fan, this movie wasnt that great!
ok,
Sajal.. I am just going to go ahead and say it! People who havent seen the movie dont read below!
Sajal dekho.. When he travels through time. He goes BACK to time as you can see the number on the time thingi are going back! Okay if the numbers are going back, but if he goes back. I mean why do they show if has gone ahead in time and it says on the Abe Lincon monument about "Geeral Thade" I mean that was Future! But it should have been the past~!
on the contrary AliBeta, I think Tim Roth displayed his talents purdy well in spite of the make-up. His movements, and display of raw ape emotion were impressive. Helena carter tried but fell short. The rest of the them were just passable.
The movie was just above average. It should be remembered the effort was a 'revisiting' to the original, not a 'remake', as Burton put it.
yaar why'ju put THAT up..kuch element of surprise to rehnay detay for those who haven't seen it yet! anyway that's a ba-had goof-up..there's gotta be a better explanation to it..seems during production even the writing crew went bananas
