bahrain tops the list… :k:

i told ya we bahrainis r really doing a good job…

im not sure how accurate it is tho. Oman figures that has dominantly hindu expats constituting arnd 60 percent of the workforce.

It's not accurate. He said "Listed Alphabeticcally".

u should read this book, death of the west

Ha and I don’t know about these countries

Comoros
Maldives (I have a little idea now due to the thread in Image 1 )
Mauritania
Mayotte

And people always said India’s muslim population is more than Pakistans’. :konfused:

Surprise to see Pakistan second.

armughal, its by alphabetical order.

little human, I was surprised as well, as I used to read that India has more muslims than Pakistan. But then these statistics are from 1997. Even then I thought India had more muslims. Will try looking it up elsewhere. Insha'Allah.

Tikhi, whats the book about?

ravage, the statistics for that are from 1997, perhaps things have changed since. Not sure.

Okay I just checked the CIA World Factbook and Pakistan does have more muslims than India. India has 12% muslim population, whereas Pakistan has 97% muslim population. Therefore, there are around 127,808,472 muslims in India and 154,420,445 muslims in Pakistan.

Oman population total is 2,903,165, and it says this about its religious population: Ibadhi Muslim 75%, Sunni Muslim, Shi'a Muslim, Hindu.
So I am guessing it means 75% are Ibadhi muslim, whatever that means. And that would be about 2,177,373 Ibadhi muslims.

Bahrain has 677,886 total population. The factbook listed the religious affiliation as 70% Shi'a and 30% Sunni muslim. I would not have guessed Bahrain is mostly Shi'aa. I thought only Iran and maybe Iraq was. Interesting.

India having more Muslims than Pakistan is a big propaganda that people have believed.

BTW, I though in UAE there were more Hindus than Muslims.

UAE according to CIA World Factbook has population of 2,523,915. They have 96% muslim population (16% Shi'aa). 96% is 2,422,958 muslims. It also says UAE has 50% South Asian population, but I guess they are mostly muslims. Unless I am not calculating the religious affiliation correctly. This is what it says for UAE:

Emirati 19%, other Arab and Iranian 23%, South Asian 50%, other expatriates (includes Westerners and East Asians) 8% (1982)

note: less than 20% are UAE citizens (1982)

Religions:

Muslim 96% (Shi'a 16%), Christian, Hindu, and other 4%

Am I doing this correctly? confused
