well there might be few like seaview or shopping centre … but i wanna ask abt the places which are not crowded, yet a place worth visiting … I’ve planning to visit one of the island of karachi but internet is so silent abt those …
are there more places like this in karachi ? or some one of u know how to reach the islands (if there is some farm house etc. there plz gimme their phone number)

The best thing there is the PN Academy.
Otherwise Manora is the only tourism possible island near Khi so far, and it's nothing more than what can be seen at Hawkes Bay and other beaches. The only joy is a 15 minute boat ride from Kaemarri to Manorra, it gives you a good feel of the merciless Arabian Sea. During the boat ride swimmers marvel at the waves and I admit also at the young fishermen who dive in and out of the water with fish-like ease. But also, the unnerving ups and downs of the small boats make swimmers fear not the rough sea or drowning, but the unfortunately very dirty water polluted with everything from ship fuel to plastic bags to tea bags to cooking oil.
In the city, lots of shopping areas and some new parks.
For farm houses/ beach huts do checkout the Sunday paper, it gets lots of ads.
You can also get boat rides through mangroves from Marina Club.

all i know is i took a boat out to that menorra place a few years back...it was nice and all to take the boat over...but oh my god the stench was horrible..it was a cross between dirty water/fish and just feces or somthing...what's up with the stench. It was decent on the island...not sure exactly where we went but my uncle is in the army and he took us to some section it was fun but weird to have his men on the boat with us

i dont think every one has access to PN academy other then arm forces ......
but there might be diff places then islands .... ??

good ideas for first time visitors…
for food…check out restaurents around boat basin , zamzama ( khadda market) , gulshan ( near urdu science college) etc
for shopping … malls like new millinium mall , dolman mall, forum, park towers r worth visiting
