Does anyone know anyplace to study in Manhattan that is quiet and has better hours than the public libraries? Basically a 24-7 joint or are any of the college libraries available for non-students? Thanks again…

You can go to any college Library with a valid college ID from any school. additionally the main library has many rooms and spaces where one can study.

Manhattan Quite Place OK. Do yourself a favor and buy ear-plugs. You can try Barnes and Noble in the 80s and madison or 5th or the one close to St Pats cathederal (BN is on 5th and 48 or 49). Dont know about better hrs.

thanks all, will try the other places. My real problem is not the noise, but rather the short hours. They all open so late here, why is that?
