As I am going to Pakistan next year (I know that you will think it is bit early planning)
I would like to know of good places to shop in major cities such as Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Lahore, Murree (I am not sure of what it offers).
If any ppl in this forum are from Azad Kashmir please could you tell me names of shops and what they sell in the following places Dadyal, Mirpur.
I hope that some1 could help me out.

Every City has its own Special things… 
Well I will like to shop for Clothes, CDs, Books by pakistani novelists, Handicrafts, shoes and things that I could take back as a souvernier.
Also does anybody know of mobile phones which I could buy in Pakistan for use in pakistan and would work in the UK.

LAHORE:
U will find clothes on Mall Road, Liberty Market and you can also go to Fortress Stadium.
For CDs… go to HALL ROad… Just on Mall Road, you will find lots there.
For Books.. Go to Mall Road Again… U will see the BIG shop FEROZ SONS… You will find almsot every Urdu book there. And also U can go to URDU BAZAR… thats the main place. Shoes etc can also be found on the same locations as for Clothes.
Karachi:
If I give U all the places… the list will go very long.. coz.. karachi is Full of everything everytwhre Go to Tariq Road.. go to Clifton go to Saddar.

In JInnah Super and Super Market U will find lots of Stuf U need. You can also go to GakhaR Plaza in Pindi on Bank ROad .. and U will find a Big Outlet of SDAF CDs there as well.
If U wana have good Handicrafts then I would Suggest… Pay a Visit to MULTAN as well… U will find outstanding Stuff there…
If U need… Weapons 
or If U want to have TIKKA KARAI.. CHAPLI KABAB… or actual Peshwari Chapal … then Peshawar is the Best place..

Thanks for your info it has been a little bit helpful, I would like to know more esp if you know places to shop in Murree and I have heard from some one that there somthing called Potowar Plaza, which is found on the way to Fasail Mosque in Islamabad is there one there and what do they sell.
Also I want places where I could get Books by urdu novelists in english.
Do you know any places in Azad KAshmir i.e Mirpur and Dadyal mainly.

BUT.. Mu suggestion … for MURRE is.. Dont shop there.. U will find it very expenssive..
And in MURRE U will find Good Market only on THE MALL..

i'm from A.K.
In dadyal - there are lots of plaza's developed now - theyr packed A-Z. u can shop around and get everything from the bazaar.
However, i checked out Azad MegaMart in Mirpur,its lovely too.shops in there are abit like in UK.

know little about Mirpur .............. megamart is kindda mega shopping mall for locals , there's one bazar over there ( forgot the name but it's the only big baazar there )which has many many shops loaded with all kind of stuff like for personal use & household.

well abt sums place near Faisal mosque theres Naval market where u can get really good clothes for ladies....then at Jinnah u can get each n everything frm books to CDs to clothes.....u can go to the old book shops which have cheaper version of books on lesser rates...super market has sum shops 4 soveniers but for traditional soveniers there r a lot better shops at Pindi Saddar....and for T-shirts n stuff i beleive karachi is da best place but if u r visiting pindi u will find them at good rate in saddar while u can get a fabulous range of clothes at islamabad which might seem a bit costly.....
P.S:just get to Pakistan grab ur frnd/cozin's arm take him/her along and u will knw it all
