Places of tourism in Pakistan

It is extremely unfortunate that Pakistan has witnessed decline in tourism in recent years.

Pakistan ranks 122 out of 140 countries in Travel, Tourism Competitiveness report – The Express Tribune

The negative publicity Pakistan often receives due to the unfortunate incidents of terrorism overshadows the fact it is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The truth is that the people of Pakistan are very welcoming and friendly to the tourists. The beautiful nation of Pakistan has so much to offer from many wonderful and historical places to lakes, glaciers and green valleys. I remember visiting Swat, Kaghan and other surrounding areas as a child, and all I have to say is that Swat, Kaghan are must see places for anyone who likes to travel and enjoy natural beauty. I really hope to see the people from all parts of the world come to Pakistan and enjoy what it has to offer.

What are some of the other must see places in Pakistan in your opinion?

@CENTCOM There are far more unfortunate things going on right now which you can stop. You just have to turn on any unbiased news channel and remove your earplug

Re: Places of tourism in Pakistan

Don’t go to Pakistan.

Polio virus spreading, lack of pure water, no electricity and very high inflation.
Threat of extremism and violence, even Islamabad remains on high alert security.

Avoid issues, better go visit places like Switzerland, etc.
