Places of Interest

**Places of Interest(Images) Your City/Country/Abroad **

I thought it would be a nice idea to share some pictures of places people have visited  in there country or inside there own city or abroad etc. Photographs are more peferable as I believe they are more personal than postcards, but the option is yours to choose. Well, I always say ‘A picture can tell a thousand words’ and to be honest it is probably a good idea for me, as I seem to waffle alot, haha! like now :stuck_out_tongue:

So, let’s start with some pictures :sadiyah:

Trafalgar Square, London

Trafalgar Square, set in central London, is one of Britain’s great tourist attractions. A visit to the capital would be incomplete without going to marvel at Nelsons Column and the four giant lions at its base, or to admire the lovely splashing fountains and to feed the pigeons, who have made their home here. Built to commemorate Admiral Nelson, the square was named after the Spanish Cape Trafalgar where his last battle, The Battle of Trafalgar, was won.

Fairy Meadows

**
Fairy Meadows is in the heart of exotic North Pakistan, It is located at the base of Nanga Parbat, which, at 8126 m, is the 9th highest mountain in the world and second in Pakistan after K2.**

**
Fairy Meadows has been a source of enchantment since long for back packers, climbers, wildlife researchers, photographers, painters & geologists, besides nature lovers. The pine forests skirting Fairy Meadows are perhaps one of the virgin forests in the north of Pakistan, and are home to a number of species of birds and wildlife. The site overlooks the Raikot Glacier and provides a majestic view of the North Face of Nanga Parbat, commonly known as the Raikot Face.**
