essel world too! it's like Disney but on much smaller scale. it's good for a day trip. quite far from the city centre though.

i love the marine drive area...it's a great place to sit by the raging sea and get splashed, eat bhuTTas, walk around...when hungry visit the Oberoi Continental restaurant and dine looking out to the sea. it's at Nariman point of the Queen's necklace. you can also sip coconut milk directlt from the green coconut. loved it!

@queer can vouch me out here, but am pretty sure coconut milk is totally different from coconut water. Unless you really meant some 5-star hotels serving coconut milk in a green coconut. ( It can happen!! )

I visited Mumbai several years ago and I really enjoyed my stay over there. Cobala is really a fun place. I also liked Pedder rd area , Juhu and Khar.

Juhu Beach is too dirty, especially if you have been to a western country beaches. i find those beaches quite dangerous for kids because of the racing horses and horse driven carts.

I did not go to the beach and I agree with you but I thought Juhu was nice.

Going to Mumbai and not visiting Mohammed Ali road.. (mian bahi area).. Excellent (non-Veg) food. than haveing Thanda paan at Juhu Beach.

superb night life…

drive from mumbai to Goa is the best.. :biggthumb:

I almost ran over a mother with a small child at Clifton Beach in Karachi when the horse I was riding (for the first time in my life :rolleyes:) took off like the wind. :sid: cr@p

Also, when I got back, the horse kicked my sister and knocked the wind out of her and I didn’t even know. :smack:
