hi all… v just moved out of pak… me n my hubby luv home made pizza… But the prob here is, i dnt have baking oven, i only have mocrowave oven…

is it posble to make pizza (wid ready made dough) in microwave???

i never made pizza in microwave oven but i think u can. i think there r instructions on the box for different types of ovens and pan. so check the instructions on the box.

I think most stoves do have working ovens, i have the same problem (no oven) but that's b/c my stove is hand me down...

Get a small toaster over. It's awesome! You can bake pretty much anything it. You can get a small one that doesn't take up much counter space for less than $50.

get a combo, toaster oven, convection oven, some even have microwave built in.

gather some stones from somewhere..then put them in a big /medium daigchi..and let it heat...on high flame...then put ur pizza dough, fitted in a pan, inside and cover ur daigchi...this way u wud c after sometime it wud be all cooked:)..but u need to check that after almost more than half-time gone..

i dont think cooking pizza from scratch using dough is a good idea in microwave. Your better off just buying a pizza pie from store. If anything, buy frozen pizza like Elios and heat up in microwave.

Umm what kind of stones? like barbecue ones or from the ground?? just put them in any normal cooking pot?

And is this a good substitute for a stove? can this work for any other dish? like baking a chickeN? is

by the way i came to knw frm a frd and then tried to make a cake... and it really worked.....

as uetian said... oven can be replaced by a dachki, I kept a small iron stand on base and den on dat stand cake dough, it was air tight....

  • before putting cake in dachki, there should be enough steam in it... (should be enough hot)

  • den put cake in it and low the heat.

  • takes more time then oven.

Results were better then oven :)

Ingredients:

Tomato-Yogurt Curry

  1. 1 teaspoon olive oil
  2. 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  3. 1/2 cup diced tomato
  4. 1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
  5. 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  6. 1 teaspoon garam masala
  7. 1/4 teaspoon minced jalapeno
  8. 1/4 cup chicken stock
  9. 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  10. 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro
  11. 1 tablespoon butter
    Tandoori Chicken
  12. 1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
  13. 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  14. 1/2 teaspoon minced jalapeno
  15. 2 tablespoons tandoori paste
  16. 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  17. 1 tablespoon butter, melted
    7)2 boneless chicken breasts
    For the Pizza
  18. 1 recipe pizza dough
  19. 1/2 small zucchini
  20. 1/2 small yellow squash, sliced into 1/8 inch pieces
  21. 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  22. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  23. 1/2 cup major grey’s chutney

Method:

  1. Tomato yogurt curry:.
  2. heat garlic in olive oil over medium heat till translucent, 1-2 minutes.
  3. add next 7 ingredients (through yogurt).
  4. reduce heat and boil the mixture till all excess liquid has evaporated, about 3 minutes.
  5. turn off burner and quickly blend in cilantro and butter; set aside.
  6. Tandoori chicken:.
  7. combine first 5 ingredients (through yogurt).
  8. coat the chicken breast with the resulting mixture (plastic gloves will keep your hands from turning red).
  9. pour the butter over the marinating chicken breasts and stir to coat well.
  10. prepare hot grill; grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side (discard marinade).
  11. remove from the grill and chill.
  12. slice chilled chicken into 1/8 inch thick slices and set aside in refrigerator.
  13. To make pizza:.
  14. preheat oven to 425.
  15. prepare pizza dough.
  16. use a large spoon to spread 1/4 cup tomato yogurt curry evenly over the surface of the prepared pizza dough within the rim.
  17. place slices of yellow squash and zucchini over the sauce; do not overlap.
  18. cover the sauced area with the mozzarella and distribute the sliced tandoori chicken evenly over the cheese (or you can put the chicken on first and top with the cheese - whichever you prefer).
  19. transfer the pizza to the oven; bake till crust is crisp and golden and the cheese is bubbly at the center, about 10-15 minutes.
  20. carefully remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle 1 T chopped fresh cilantro over the top.
  21. Slice and serve with mango chutney.
