Pizza Sauce?

Hi,

can someone help out with some spicy recipe for pizza sauce? have been trying some ready-made sauces but they r so full of tomatoes … :S infact .

I think the whole point of a pizza sauce is that it's meant to be tomatoey?

yeah, use a basic tomato puree and add your own spices - i prefer it light with just some origano and basil, but my mum used to make it out of this really spicy tomato chutney.

here in pakistan we get desi pizza flavours like chikken tikka etc.... kids over here like that and its a li'l bit tomatoey (not so sweet)... i have bene trying to derive that particular flavour but to no success :(

i like mine to be spicy, so i add crushed chillies to the paste..maybe, you can add hot sauce or peri peri sauce to the paste..or maybe just any tandoori or tikka masala.
