Another bad news for all the pizza eating muslims in North America (possibly UK), the dough used to make the crust for Pizza Hut pizzas is Haraam. It is made it out of Lard which is basically Pig Fat.

Everything is haraam....even the water you drink is haraam...water company deals with "sood"/intrest and that is haraam, hence water is north america is haram...All us muslims are going to hell.....Now Eid Mubarak to you too

Okay here is my dilemma. Stereoisomeric L-cysteine is found in human hair and is also put in some donuts. Why is this haram? It is just a compound, right?
If a pig dies and and decomposes, its cellular contents are released into the ground, and through the process of carbon and nitroen fixation cycles, they are received back into plants--> herbivores---> carnivores and omnivores (human).
It is enitrely possible that the a few molecules of water i am drinking made up someone's urine only a couple of days ago (water cycle) Is that haram too?

As for those soaps...well, you're not ingesting the soap, so I dont know if I agree with the decree that these products are haraam. You're not supposed to ingest pig. I don't think there is any specific Quranic legislation that you can't use it on your skin. And putting soap on your skin and washing it off doesn't give it enough time to absorb into your capillary and hence blood system anyway. My 2 cents. I think the maulvi interpretation is - better safe than sorry.

Well if u look at it that way, you should starve to death because then everything will be haram, including the bakra that u slaughtered yourself because they somehow indirectly came incontact with the pig's cellular contents...
seriously, islam isn't meant to be difficult... if its easy for you to always bring food from home go ahead, but i don't think ur sposed to go through extra extra trouble.. after all hunger is a natural impulse and we shudn't ignore it :)

Yeah. I think also that after looking at these sites, some of them go overboard. Like insulin also comes from pigs. So is that a haraam molecule that you can't put in your blood stream?
So all muslim type 1 insulin-dependent patients should just go die?
