this jealousy thing n not wanting others to wear what they hav chosen for themselves is inherently a widely seen paki phenomenon. ive seen here cousins etc n close relatives not telling or lying about clothes when complimented. they wudnt want u to wear what they r wearing them selves.
but i must say its a very very cheap thing to do, i have like 5 sisters in law and we all end up wearing clothes frm the same designer or same place at functions, and so one of the ppl i know( obviously frm my side of the family) asked me ... y do u tell them where u shop? and y do u have to tel em everytime u discover a good designer?. i dont pay attention to this kindda annoying uncalled for advice, but this is what a typical paki mentality is. its sad.
the world is such a small place now, one can look up the web n tel what designer one was wearing so a big booo all those ppl who r secretive about their shopping places n designers.
