i dont make it but i drink it ,it taste soo good,in this u put a little ajwain,and a pice of ginger too along green tea ,u also put choti ilachi in it.

Here is how I was taught to make it.

Boil water along with sugar and ilaichi.
After it boils for a while, add just a pinch of green tea..... pinch size depending on the number of cups you are making (this is the part where I always mess up).

After you have added green tea, cover the pot and let it simmer for like a minute then take
if off of the stove. Now keeping the pot covered let if sit there a few minutes.

After you pour it in cups, add a few drops of lemon if you like.

What brand of green tea?
In pakistan we use to make it with “jasmin” green tea.
I wonder if some one sells that in toronto too.
