And the pic is wrong in another way as well - many people have music and films on disks…but does anyone throw their disks away? I certainly don’t. So i am being green anyway ![]()

Re: Piracy is Environment friendly
Good Topic…
And you think you’re being green by keeping those CD/DVDs for when nobody’s getting rid of them and they have eliminated the machines that would dispose of those in an effective manner? Smart!!! ![]()
Re: Piracy is Environment friendly
Piracy is good in one way only. If you are low on cash and want to learn some software, you may download it and learn it. Many software companies are actually encouraging it.
However. You can not produce anything from that software as per their license and eventually you will have to buy it.
For games: If you are a single player lover, you can download and save like 60$s, if you are multiplayer than, you wont.
Most software and game companies do not get involved in finding people who crack the codes for the games because its like chasing the ghost.
If you find one and sue him for what he has done, you can actually get like what…10million$s? (Last case was 9million$ just for the bot in the game)
So do the math.
But its like a ghost hunt.
