Bro, Prohet(pbuh) times were different. Him and Sahabas were a different bunch than current day Arabs who marry 9-12 year olds in RawalPindi for 200 riyal. I have seen darker side of Arabs.. a lot! I know Arabs are the ones who see goras better than their poor 3rd world muslim brothers(most of them do). We should be friendly to everyone regardless of their ethnicity.

No, I am not saying that.. There are both nice Arabs and nice Pakistanis.. It's just that we are all human beings.. I have met some very nice Arabs too.. They respect, regard and you feel the same towards them.. More in number in Pakistan? Hmm.. can't say that. I can't speak for others but Punjabis(who are in majority) are very nice, polite, forgiving, and peaceful- Islamic in the true sense..:)

When you say this you are speaking against every pir and baba out there. I agree there are plenty of fake pirs and babas who eat money from people. But at the same time there are a select few who are rightly guided by Allah (SWT) and with the help of Allah (SWT) they have knowledge that can help those in need. I know some who don't accept a penny, they always offer sweets to their guests and if someone thanks them they never accept it and say thank Allah (SWT) instead.

Just like a tree, there are going to be a few good and bad apples.

Read something about tassawuff..then come talk to me. define what u think a sufi is..do u know anything about naqshbandi school of thought for example? do you have issues with ppl like imam ghazali or rabia basri.

Nothing wrong with reforming society, these fake pirs, these con artists are a plague and need to be sorted out, just like the right wingers among orthodox muslims..I presented ppl like sipah e sahaba goons or mullahs burning private property and businesses. Before you start off with your parables, i was not talking against every peer and baba out there, just the kind that Stomp described in his first post, smoking hashish, involved with jnns, 3rd eye crap...and then you see these guy do all this miracles.

These kinds dont even pray...how is it possibe for them to be rightly guided by Allah.

That should tell you all you need to know. Most of them are fraudulent, uneducated and trying to make a quick buck. Some are constantly high and believe their own delusions. If they were so holy and wise, they wouldn't need their drugs. People who use them for guidance are usually ignorant or desperate. I don't mind the ones who guide people about what surahs or duas to recite, but all this taveez, spells, dancing, singing "Dama Dum Mast Qalandar" at mazars and "I'm married to a jinn" is utter crap. Totally unIslamic. All you need, religiously, is the Quran and the Hadith.

I've been to Data Darbar in Lahore twice, and the behavior I saw there was so jahil, I got turned off by the whole experience. Come on, praying to dead sufis instead of Allah? Ridiculous.
