Im doing research like, on this great shiekh/pir from uch sharif, in Bahawalpur, Multan. I know his tomb/mizaar is well known there, and that the saint originally came from Bukhara, what i’d like to know is does anyone know any other detail on him, i.e. such as his lifestyle (in bukhara and pak), his influence in uch, any pics of his tomb, some background etc.?
Any links, books, other info would be real helpful thnx.

Google was the first place i tried, the problem is he is known by various names and most sites are tourist sites that dunn have much info on him. However, i went thru the links you gave and i found one link that was pretty good actually, am still looking for more, but this one was quite helpful. thanks a bunch. :k:

Most of the Pir - Awliyagan in today's Pakistan & India are originally from either Afghanistan or North Central Asia. Data Ganj Bakhsh was from Ghazni, the Cheshtiya Pir was from Ghor province of Afghanistan. By the way, i am sure there would be any kind of book about these Pirs, in which you could find stuff about their life style.
