There go half the replies here. Too bad :D

RADEON ALL-IN-WONDER 9500 Pro :k: :k:

^ too pricey. Dont need an all in one. Just a AV input. I want/need something that captures better than 320x240 .Maybe > 640x 480.

DV9600 does capture upto 800x600 but only thru DV i/o. Also I tried microsoft windows movie maker 2.0 beta and tried to capture thru AIW9500. It does accept 640x480 in avi format. Great utility but you can't play like professionals unlike Liquid Video or the one from Adaptec.

A friend of mind is PGD, here in california, he uses Oxygen high-end video cards for capturing analog av to different ouput formats. Oxygen series is pretty costly but it was designed for some serious stuff.

Talking from professional point of view S3 also has some kick-A55 VGA cards as well.

Zoltrix makes a card .. a person I know from an AV board used to sell these modified.. getting rid of the noise so the picture doesn't have ringing..

I myself use a cheap-ass Cybermail AV card.. u can't ask for more for $16 :D
