So this experimental pink ball is supposedly better to sight. It is still a prototype i.e. its still a beta version. Theyre working out kinks like finding the perfect shade of pink to achieve optimum gayness.
If Twenty20 is going to do anything to promote cricket to guys who don’t know anything about cricket, this pink ball will do wonders to reverse whatever progress Twenty20 will make.
I dont think its such a bad idea. Coz white ball really loses color specially in sub continent conditions....it will be interesting to see how Pink ball looks like after 20 overs cricket in subcontinental outfields.
My first reaction of seeing this was that its not such a bad idea! Yellow and orange balls were tried during the Super series and they had quite success too. I think pink is even better (Visibility retaining color vise) than yellow and orange!
