how do i stop them? i tried Clearasil but i think im allergic to it because the other day i tried it on and it just gave me these huge red spots
and what about the scars left by pimples? i heard porselana (however you spell it) and mederma is good. and desi totkay was drinking water or putting lemon juice on the skin??
Your best bet is to get Proactive, that product works really well, and I don't say this based on just watching the infomercial, I've seen the results from friends/cousins using it. And the best part is that if it doesn't work they'll easily take it back within 60 days. If you don't want to get the whole kit than get their cleanser and repair lotion and buy a natural toner or use rosewater. It's a good investment, don't use toothpaste and all that junk sounds so harsh for using on your ace and might irritate your skin even more. The repair cream that comes with the kit will help with the scars too. And lastly drink lots of water!
what abuot the scars/ my skin cant take anything medicated - including lotions :(
chichorni, try not touching that partof ur face at all. If you must use natural exfoliants with a tincture of face wash - use rosewater toner and olive oil as a moisturisor. But do NOT touch the spots. I had reaaaaaaaaaaal acne - now alhamdulillah save the scars its all gone.
I dont know if you can get ahold of this cream / ointment called Betnovate but it works for me. I havent broken out in pimples ever since I discovered it. And it will do away with the scars too
Tea tree oil works for me. I use the toner regularly and if I ever get a pimple, I apply tee tree oil directly onto the the spot and it normally disappears in a day or two without scarring.
For pimples, i would say see a dermatologist, if its a real problem. I have been battling with this since forever and I think i will never get free of acne. And trust me, I have tried everything in the book, you possibly ever can.
For scars, I just let them fade on their own. A peel can also be helpful if you have serious scarring, else they should go away with time.
