Accutane (derivative of Vitamin A) is used to treat extreme forms of hyper keratization and when i say extreme I mean babies with Harlequin type ichthyosis which is when a new born has thick layer of keratin on their body (most such babies die). But I doubt ppl will KP will even get a prescription of accutane coz it is a very potent drug.

I know someone who took that and it caused them severe depression even though their skin was flawless.

Besides, Iam getting married in a few months and it’s deemed risky to take this if you’re going to try for babies.
