Do anyone else gets pimples after facial waxing and wat u do to make them go?I always get them but this time they r taking too long to go away.

depends on what part of your body your waxing - a more sensitive part like your face skin could break out in pimples
ever try threading or bleaching?

i never like bleaching. threading on upper lips gives me pimples too but usually very tiny ones n goes away in few days. its my jawline n neck where i get waxing and result is pahaar jaisay danay.may b i do hav sensitive skin.

i got my facewaxed and ended up with pimplesthat took forever to go away..
i never waxed again, but then i dont have it so bad so its ok for me.
i went to pakistan a f ew months bak and saw this lady getting her face waxed then she got a facial done after that was specifically to prevent the pimples. i dont know what kind it was tho

Make sure you wash your face and use an astringent after waxing. That should help.

i got some kind of lotion as prescribed by the derm 2 use after waxing....but it was kinda funnie cuz she was like if u get pimples y dont u just stop waxing yr arms...i was like hello?!?...LOL.

^ thats an easy way just stop waxing n start shaving.did u ask the derm wat she does or was it a He?
but i like sahar’s advice.i’ll try cleaning right after waxing next time.

my derm was a SHE...lol and i only laughed at her when she said that...i told her i cant do w/o waxing my arms...

well for arms u can buy epilators n i heard they r good.i've always wanted one.but for face i see no other option.

epilator? i have heard waxing IS the best solution...epilators grow yr hair thicker same with shaving.....creams ruin the skin color so waxing is the only option but arghhh it hurts 2 much.

^^^ nope epilators don't thicken ur hair coz they pull them out from the root like waxing.just hav to use a lil more often than wax.my cousin had one n i used it a couple of times n liked it.but here in canada i don't see it in stores

You should also ice the area immediately after waxing. They do that a lot at salons for people who have sensitive skin.
Mabrook -- You can get a Braun epilator "Silk Epil." They're available at beauty stores in the US, probably in Canada too. If not, just order online. And no, they do not thicken hair.

my cousin told me oned that after waxing give the area light slappings and put one after shaves yes i know..after shave i use it and it helps some times (hihi)

It all depends on the type of skin you have if you have a sensitive skin you will have pimples or maybe redness . it all depends but i would personally condider you to go to a dermatologue so hes going to telll you everything it happend me once but they gave me a cream and after this all was perfect ..you should not use waxing when you have snesitive skin ,
