Pilonidal Sinus?

I have have two surgeries for removal of pilonidal sinus, but it keeps coming back, and i dont want to get 3rd surgery.
Has anyone heard of been diagnosed with pilonidal sinus? If so? any recommended doctors or treatments?

It has a bad habit of recurring... but syrgery is the only treatment .... i wouldn't know about or suggest any desi totkas.I say .just hang in there.... and rely on your surgeon. He is the best to know your condition, and its extent.

Are you saying that it has recurred after the second surgery..... or are you just looking for some preventive measures???

yes it have occured for the 3rd time :( sick and tired of it, because i have slow healing process and it takes about 3 months till the wound heals up fully. Doctor said its chronic in rare cases and could come back till the age where my hair lining will become thin. The surgeon's in canada seem good but i am thinking to goto pakistan since its more common there.

I neednt stress to you the importence of shaving the area completely clear off any hair .

Two of my close friends have been cured but they had two surgeries not for recurrence but one episode each.

One for incision & drainage of infection & the second of EXCISION & removal of the cyst completely from the roof to the bottom lining .

Both PaKISTANIS OR nORTH aMERICAN Surgeons SHOULD BE ABLE TO TREAT IT SUCCESSFULLY .It should not take 3 months to heal from operation normally .

I tried shaving the area, but it appears; The surgeon who performed my surgery, deals with this kinda case on average of 40 annualy. out of 40 at most 3-5 people re-acuse. I guess i am one of them 5 people; For me as i said, abornmally slow healin rate; There are numerous ways of performing this surgical operation. However, i foud out that there is a process called KARADIYIAS…its a long surgical procedure, and longer healing process (more pain for me) but it will never recure anymore.

Both pakistani and north american surgeon doctors are good, but however, from what i have heard, its more common in middle eastern arab countries where men tend to be hairy .

All things considered Excision of Pilonidal cyst is not really brain surgey or angioplasty .I mean it is done in villages of India Pakistan or perhaps Mid East !!!

Yes or no it may be more common inhumid sweaty hairy kind of places but its not a procedure that is much different than EXCISION DRAINAGE of a cyst with some peculiarity of its own unique pinonidal cyst charactersistics ..bas not more THAN SKIN DEEP so to say & superficial …YES IT IS 'pain in the A$$ ’ b/c of its position & inaccessibility to see  by the sufferer & difficult to care for it by self .Hang in there ! & best of healing if not luck:)
