I am not sure if any guppans here are in to it. I wanted to know if you actually lose weight in that excercise. As far as i know its some what close to yoga please correct me if i am wrong.

You definitely will tone up your body if you keep with it. Which pilates program are you looking into? Winsor pilates is great, as is this other one that you use with a large elastic band. You definitely will work muscles and tone .... but as long as you keep with it.
