Isn't the last syllable supposed to become, something like 'ix'...Like 'nix' would become 'ixnay'...
So, wouldn't 'excuse' become 'sexcuse'... The last 'e' with the apostrophe on top...

For words that begin with Vowel .. we simply add the syllable "ay" to the end of the word.
Whether In some dialects, to aid in pronunciation, an "h," "w" or "d" is added to the suffix;
So excuse becomes excuseway ...:D
