i was just wondering, do any guppans have experiences where one of their ear-piercings was not done according to how they wanted it and they tried to close it by not wearing earrings in that hole?
i mean kaan ka suraakh band karnay kee koshish kee hay kisi ne?
the thing is the ear piercing i have, not the bottom one but the second one that is above, i got it done abt a yr ago…it is done too close to the border of the ear, i didnt really realise that until 2 of my cousins pointed it out to me.
now i want to close it and get another one done a little above this one. ..
but i am worried about whether it will close perfectly and that spot will come back to its original look it was at before piercing?
and how long will that take?
is it even worth the trouble going thru that again?
pass toh naheen par jata?
i am not sure what to do i took out my ear stud from it yesterday cuz i decided ima close it par i am thinking maye i should put it back now??
You need reverse surgery. The surgeon will take a small piece of flesh from your nose (as it resembles the most with your ears) and patch it on to your ears. It’s a fast and painless procedure.
There is a procedure where you purposely induce inflammation.. by pricking with a sterlised needle.. this is done over several days. This allows natural scarring to take place and it seals up the hole.
another is a small surgical procedure where some skin flap is removed first (as a rule you sdont stitch up two skin surfaces as it is skin a nd it might contain oil glands and sweat glands and hair etc and may cause a cyst formation if closed up improperly) and the two surfaces are stitched up together with absorbable sututres and person sent home with instructions to put an ointment containing alatoin which has wound healing and tissue constricting properties.
if there is any other method, do let me know please. thanks
Alright, I just checked in the mirror. Fraudia is right...it closes up by itself after some time.
I'm surprised how my first ones are still open. I never wear anything in my ears. 2nd ones closed because of that. I got them done a couple of years ago.
So no worries. It'll close up. :)
i got my ears pierced when i was 8-9, it was in Pakistan and they did it wrong… one hole was up and was little bit down… so my mum had to tell them to do it again…so i have 2 holes in my ear…
but the surprising thing was that i totally forgot about the wrong holes and after 10 years i realised keh i have another hole too…and they were still open after all these years…so i sometimes wear earings in them and sometimes not…
irem, be careful with getting any type of body piercings. there is always the fear of infection if the newly-pierced hole isn’t cleaned properly every so often. Now THAT is a bigger problem than a darned earhole or any other peirced hole closing up.
irem, yes about 4/5 years back when i went to karachi..i got an ear pierced and that person pierced it on my bone..and after a while it was gross..i couldn't even take the tops out..my chachi who is doctor told me that she's gonna take them out with surgurical instruments so i better take it out myself..and since that day...those holes are close..but if i touch that part it feels that there was a hole there..but its not visible though..so yeah, they do close down themselves :)
some holes may close naturally. however thats an exception not a rule.
Its funny, I have seen high profile Pak beaurocrats with piereced ears (and on the wrong side!) not intending to judge their preferences I like to think that its cultural and was probably done when they were kids, as a form of offering to a saint or someone on their birth
Even good gold ones, they still iritate my ears...so yeah...stopped wearing earrings..and I no longer have a piercing. Might be possible to poke through em..if I felt the need to wear earrings..did that once...
I got my second peircings about four years ago. I haven't worn earrings (in the second pair of holes) for about two years now. No, they haven't closed yet.
And yes, the same problem with me--too close to the border line but when I used to wear little studs, it wasn't all that obvious.
My dad doesn't like more than a pair of earrings at a time so I quit hanging anymore than 2.
