When training you sometimes don’t see the results as you see yourself everyday and you don’t notice the slight changes in your body. If you take a naked picture of your body say every 6 months and compare it with the previous pic you can see if you are benefitting from the training.
I don’t take any pics however I have found a pic going back a couple of years and can see the difference. I noticed the body becoming more defined and its a good yardstick to see your progress. It does give you a little boost to see the difference.
Does anyone take pics of themselves periodically? and what has your experience been?
This is a good idea...my weight has been the same for several years, but my body composition has changed markedly. I wouldn't take them naked but maybe in a bathing suit or my tightest jeans so i can see the waist getting looser :) a far off dream..haha
I completely agree with the idea of gauging yourself with the help of visuals from time to time. An example shows the hard work it takes to complete and patience it takes to go through months of training. Wearing clothes is another measure of success. Loose clothing when you had put on weight and getting around to wearing jeans and looking good after you had lost weight is what people get accustomed to. If someone is serious about working out and producing results, pictures is a great idea. Otherwise, mirror is your best friend.
