This one is a picture of the western cove of the Astolla, an area of Gwadar, jutting out into the sea.

This is an inland basin area flooded by a high tide. Notice the date palm trees, giving a distinctly Middle Eastern look to the environment.

From the above pictures one can cleary make out the unique geographical features of this town which make it strategiaclly important and viable as a future naval hub of Pakistan.

It is being developed with cooperation from China.

Compare the space image of Gwadar above, to the space image of the Bombay, India coastline below. Notice the stark differences in vegetation, and geographical coastline features.

is here anyone who has seen the movie “vertical limit”, it shows some really nice scenes of K2, i know that a part of the movies had been made elsewhere but the pakistani part is too good to explain.
