I have come to the conclusion that I am in just no position to be able to afford oufits for my cousins wedding from an actual designer. I am therefore going to try and make a replica. I have come across a manish malhotra dress which I really like and think that it should be fairly easy to make a replica of, I’d just appreciate it if anyone could has any more pictures of this dress so I can get it as near as possible to the actual dress.
Additionally what materail and embroidery do you think he uses, I’d just like to compare your answers which what the person who will be making the dress has told me. Also, this is probably a really stupid question but what is worn under the dress? I can’t tell from the picture
replicating manish designs are not as simple as we think … this dress cost us too much only the fabric which we used camel carf chiffoon for the same look we were keep adding the kaliyas to give it the exact look and it was like never ending process but atlast we done with it . kindly check the below pics with the original reviews and views are most welcome .
Honeybeez might be able to help you identify the type of fabric used. To me, it all looks like moonlight in different shades but its not the same fabric.
