Okay but were camera's even around back then? I know that is a general question...but I know how putting up pictures in your house can be wrong...because it is the same thing as worshipping idols....angels won't come into your house, etc. Your wedding is the best day out of your life, you want to remember it forever and have your children...grandchildren etc. look at the pictures of the day you got married.
So what is wrong with taking pictures on that day....to keep in an album to look back on later? I really don't think Allah swt will punish us for doing that.
even though i m not religious enough to not take pictures or even wait til nikah...i dont agree with you above statement.
Aallah knew what the time will bring...cameras invention was not a surprise for Allah...so saying that camera's were not invented at the back then hence the rule doesn't apply does not work.
