Picture of one of my cabinets.

my dell servers.

I am running a private line with a 2.5gbit backbone.

one of the servers where i run some of my sites has following specifcations

2x DELL POWEREDGE 6850 ENTERPRISE RACKMOUNT SERVER
QUAD - Dual-Core Intel® Xeon™ Processor 7040, 3.0Ghz, 2x2MB Cache, Quad Processor
12x2 (24)GB DDR2 400MHZ PC3200 ECC Single Rank Memory RAM
5x300GB 10,000 RPM Ultra 320 SCSI Hard Drive (Raid-5 Redundancy)

For movies ripping we use a 48GB DDR2 RAM server. It rips one DVD 9 movie with CCE encoding to 4.4gb in just 15 minutes.

I use it for scene release. That server is in my room, incase koi chaapa par jaye i can always plug it off and throw it out of the window.

I will post the servers I have in my room. They are sick. Bohat awaz ati hai unmay say, but i cant sleep without them.

wow. all the noice and garmi.
I assume you have to use fans 24/7 for these servers. Otherwise they can just go down.
so what else do you have in your room - multiple workstations too

I got Quad core … Dual Cpu … AMD opteron 2.6… 8 gig Ram … Nvidia Quadro fx 4500… 1 Terabyte Harddisk … n two monitorz … brand = Boxx

5 Rendering nodes with same specs … with out “Quadro fx4500”

2+1 terabyte storage racks

mean total of 24 cores … ;)]

but my rendering nodes r in other room …
