on this previous weekend i had a chance to go to Ormara, a small town on makran coast some 350 km from karachi.
my word.
i was so amazed to see this part of Pakistan.
the road the makran coastal highway is very zabardast project almsost 95% done. u can easily go 120/130 km on this track
beautiful rock exposures, mud volcanos, beautiful blue beeches awaits to welcome u duringg the journey.
u can go n return back the smeday.
i’ll be soon be adding some images to give u ppl a taste of its beauty.
agreed..the balochi coast is spellbounding :)
spellbounding is the most appropriate word.
many people thinks that the hills and mounains must be green in rder to look beautiful and attract tourists.
but these ppl miss a great varity and hence big part of spectacular natural beauty.

Wow i'd really like to see them pictures yaar! Its been like 12-13 years since I last was in Pakistan, and the memories I have of the place arent the best memories unfortunatly. Next time I come to PK I wanna check out the place with the white sandy beaches and blue lagoons :D
I agree too. Nice areas. I visited makran areas with my college field trip and started from Hubb dam to all the way to Ormara. We were studying plant, animal and marine ecology so we checked all those areas in details. Road wasn't that great back in 1990.

About 5 hrs I'd say if the road is as good as stated (350km/ 70kph - avg speed).

it took us some 4 hours and 20 minutes to reach Jinnah Naval Base Ormara.
i tryin my best to add pictures by the size limit is too small
