Picnic on the beach and a snake fight

Last week phajjaa and office colleagues went on a picnic at the beach. We had a great time. Most interesting part was the snake fight that we saw. Cruel as it may seem , cause the poor snake died for the sake of just a 100 ruppees. But it was quite interesting and a strange experience. Here are a few pics.

The poor snake tried to slip away in the sand as soon as it was free - sending all those standing nearby running for their dear lives

The Nevlaaa was pretty smart and had sharp reflexes

Soon the snake was in real trouble and the Nevlaa was really making smart moves

I wont post the final pics as they are kinda horrible with the snake all reduced to a pulp :yukh:

yup I agree
but this is also part of daily life and the source of bread and butter for thousands of snake charmers in the country

Such an inhumane thin' to do...'n the worst part is ppl like/pay to watch it...very sad :(

I hate saanps :chair ke neeche jhaankne wala icon: there for its was so delightful to see the damn thing being beaten by good old nevlaa. :smiley:
