Pick the odd one out

Re: Pick the odd one out

Some one please explain to me the practicality of this hadees.
O young people those among you who are able must enter into marriage. For it helps to divert your attention from women and it is a safeguard against lust. Those who cannot marry must observe fasts for fasting too is a safeguard.
[Hadith of Al Bukhari & Muslim on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Masud]
Volume 7, Book 62, Number 3:

I understand that if someone is fasting one will not perform any sexual activity because it will invalidate their fast.
But sexual activity can resume once , one breaks his/her fast . Normally sexual desire arise in the dark of the night.
One can control sexual urges by avoiding any kind of pornographic material or any kind of sexual stimulant during their waking hours , but nobody has control over dreams , if one sees an erotic dream and one wakes up with unsatisfied sexual urge and one is not married, what one should do ?
I am not making all this up it happens with most of the normal human beings.
Google these key words wake up with horny and you will see tons of questions asked by people who face this issue.
If you say that this issue does not pertains to Muslim youth , I would say you are naive. I was born and raised in a Muslim society and I know all about how Muslim youth feel and behave.
Why am I raising this question ? Because you are trying to associate guilt with very innocent activity of masturbating which harms nobody , but gives an outlet to Muslim youth to satisfy their sexual urges in peace , quite and privacy instead of resorting to some criminal way of doing so. If you associate guilt to such an innocent act you will turn a normal human being into thinking that he/she is worthless, criminal. He she will loose self respect and those who have no self respect will have no respect for any thing else.
Think again do you want to raise a whole generation of this kind of youth ?
This issue is bigger than you think.
