ab yeh batain rehnay dijyai
jis umr main qisay bantay thay
is umr ka ghum sehnay dijyai
ab apny ujry ankhon main
jitny roshen si ratain hain
us umr ki sub soghatain hain
jis umr k khwab khayal houay
woh pichly umr thy beet gay
woh umr beetay sal houay
ab apny deed k restay main
kuch rung hay guzray lemhon ka
kuch ashkon ki baratain hain
kuch bhoulay besray chehray hain
kuch yadon ki bersatain hain
yeh pichlay ishq ki batain hain

Itnni shiddat say kisi shaks ki chaahat karna,
