welll yes,, at the end much will be thrown. But this pic shows a Muslim Arab tradition, from a wedding party. Guests will keep in coming to the tent, eat their piece and then go. Next guy will come sit in the same place and then eat, and it continues till guests are done. eating from the same big dish.
and its called MANDI not biryani.
