its their fight n shoe is their missile. why is that bothering you..? are you doing / have done anything for them? other than telling stories to your kids? how is that going to help iraqis? now should they just sit and wait for your so called tipu sultan / salahudin type heroes or try to resist the american terrorism whichever they can...? sure a shoe is not exactly a nuclear bomb but its better than empty-duds which are what today's muslims are.

You need to read more then. Nader Shah for example killed 30,000 people in Mughal Delhi.

Muhammad bin Qasim killed 6,000 in Multan, along with many more elsewhere.

Timur Lenk tops them all with over 17 million who died from his conquests.

its the effort that counts...not the result. so what if the shoe didn't touch bush...its brave enough to throw a show at him...lagay na lagay...who cares...waise bhi why should it concern you? would you tell stories of a brave shoe thrower to your kids had it hit bush?

Fatimids pretty much met their own demise by failing to unify, the empire collapsed after the conversion of the zirids. They failed to rectify any state after that and a just leader had to step in.

Both in western academics and easter, Salahuddin is praised for that, alongside with Noor-uddin Zinghi.

As for this shoe thrower, bravo to him, by more than idolizing it, we should take a lesson from him, and find our own form of justice and retribution towards the oppression in the world.

Oppression must end in the world, and Oppressors must be brought down, by ANY means NECESSARY.

no one is idolizing the shoe thrower. that monument is to symbolize the struggle of all the iraqis against American oppression and terrorism. i praise him for taking that action.
