PIA

How many of you still travel on it?

We’ve stopped doing so after hearing of the appalling maintenance stories.

Re: PIA

i still do,i know i am dheet but i like the 13 hour non stop misery, instead of a stop over in dubai wid kids while going to pakistan.i dont care abt their service as me and my kids dont eat in plane.but i manage my own snacks:) and for liquids i buy juices and water from the airport ,so kabhi mai nai crew ko zehmat nahi dee:D

Re: PIA

i took PIA to Delhi via Karachi only once and i kinda liked it because at that time PIA was a great airline to fly with...baa-kamaal log laa-jawaab service** thi :D ab shaayad vohii baa-kamaal log be-kamaal ho gaye aur laa-jawaab service be-jawaab service ho gai...sad indeed! :(**

Re: PIA

we do mainly due to direct flight. With 2 kids its easy for bachoon ki amma to get on board from here and get off at Karachi without having to run after kids on Dubai or London airport.

Re: PIA

As everyone else has said, it's a direct flight, no stop overs, and we get a larger baggage allowance with them. It's the only reason we resort to flying with PIA, otherwise the service is pretty poor, with crap food, unhygienic restrooms (probably more due to passengers) and flight attendants with attitude.

Re: PIA

never used PIA for international routes but was flying with them on LHE-KHI sector until last winter to avoid foggy mornings in Lahore. Not doing that any more.
