off to Pakistan in the not so distant future and would like to allocate my seat through the PIA website. How do you do this and what is the ‘PNR’ number on your ticket?

The PNR number (Passenger Name Record) is usually printed on the upper-right corner of a ticket. It should be a 6-digit number.

I;ve been constnalty trying a 6 digit word consiting of 5 letters and 1 number. Giving me a message that system is down. SO I created a flase booking on pia website and given a PNR word of length 6 with all letters - which worked. Cant see anything else of length 6 only the one mentioned above under 'Airline Data'

Seems my ticket didnt come with PNR printed. Got the number with a ring to PIA :-)

just to be on the safe side… book ure seat in person… PIA is not at all trustable when it comes to seats… hell they mess up ure ticket when ure gettin it done in PERSON… wallah allam what they’ll do if u book online…

More chance of mistakes in person probabaly, miscommunication etc...
